The difference between Chronic Muscle Pain and Muscle Tension

Chronic Muscle Pain

Chronic muscle pain is a persistent pain lasting for an extended period in your muscles, often weeks or even months. It’s different type of pain than the usual soreness you might feel after exercise or a day of strenuous activity. It can take the flowing types, a dull ache, burning sensation, or tightness in the muscles. Or it can throb, feel sharp, stabbing that doesn’t heal over a period of time with rest or icing.

What cause chronic muscle pain. Physical stress is a big one. If you’re constantly lifting heavy items or engaging in repetitive motions, Poor posture, Slouching or sitting for long periods leading to tight strained muscles, especially in areas like the neck, shoulders, and back.

This is like your muscles sending out signals they are struggling and need help.
