Sports Massage
A Sports Massage can work for anyone who is active, from the recreational athlete to elite athletes. By targeting your most troublesome body parts, sports massage helps to improve movement and performance, by increasing the quality and range of movement, and therefore prevent injury.
Sports massage can be used effectively to treat conditions such as tendonitis, strains, sprains, and muscle/fascial adhesions. Sports massage can also be used in conjunction with training schedules and conditioning programs to enhance performance, aid in recovery from competition and reduce the risk of injuries occurring.
Cupping (Fascial Decompression)
Cupping is an ancient therapy of causing local congestion by creating a vacuum as cups are placed on the skin by means of suction. This draws stagnation from underlying tissues to the surface. When left in place for a few minutes, blood stagnation is released and localised healing takes place. Cupping has also been found to affect to deeper layers of the body up to four inches into the tissues, causing tissues to release toxins, activate the lymphatic system, help activate and clear the veins, arteries and capillaries, activate the skin and release any fascia build ups. Cupping is great along with best deep tissue massage. The technique of cupping is very useful and very safe and can be easily incorporated into your treatment.
