What you can do:

 

FOR THE LIVER Dandelion (Taraxacum off) this wonderful herb helps the liver to detox. One of the hardest working organs in the body is the liver and Dandelion packages the toxins in the Liver for removal.

 

FOR THE KIDNEYS stress Lemon Balm (Melissa off) and Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) Tea. Both of these have carminative and mild sedative properties.

 

SLEEP DEPRIVED Valerian (Valeriana off) Most people with sleep disorder have heard of the wonderful effect this herb has on sleeping. 

 

MILD DPRESSION St John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) This herb works in mild forms of depression and anxiety with out the side effects of the stronger Pharmaceutical drugs. In mild cases

CARBOHYDRATES; these are the fuel

and fibre for your body. These are

Complex Carbohydrates cereals,

vegetables, legumes  nuts and seeds

which provide a wealth of nutrients and valuable fibre. These are Simple Carbohydrates sugar, honey, syrup, some fruits, white bread (cakes, donuts, biscuits, refined foods, chocolates. 

Blood sugar levels need to stay within a close range while being used to fuel the cells in the body. Insulin is released into the blood stream when levels is high and glucagon released when blood sugar levels (bsl) are low.

PROTEIN: is the basic structure of all living things and is 16% of our bodies. It also has the effect of making a person feel full and less lucky to feel hungry .

Protein make body tissues, enzymes, protein hormones, amino acids, antibodies and immune system molecules. It is not stored in the body and therefore it is used and/or excreted so is need to be replaced regularly. They are groups who need extra amounts of protein, this includes teenagers children, pregnant women.

The use of protein for energy can be used but not as efficiently as carbs.  As Protein is either used or excreted the body has to deal with the excess waste from this process.

FATS: are used for energy, insulation and stored in the body. however good fats have a number of essential uses in the body. These include the structure  or the cells, membrane maintenance and are the polyunsaturated and mono unsaturated fats, omega 3 and 6. 

VITAMINS: The B group vitamins aid in the chemical reactions that occur in the body and therefore play a role in all of the bodies function.

MINERALS: Are also involved in the function of the body. Of 100 elements found in Nature only 4 of them make up 96% of the human body- Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen and Nitrogen. the rest  of the body is make up of others and a lack of one of them can make life impossible .
